Red Fish Curry : Kerala Style
Ingredients : 1/2 kg fish cut into pieces , 2 tbsp oil , 1/2 tsp mustard seeds A few curry leaves , 1 onion, chopped , 2 1/2 cm ginger, shredded , 7 cloves garlic, chopped , 2 tbsp chilly powder or (according to your taste) , 2 tsp coriander powder , 1/2 tsp turmeric powder , 2 pinches fenugreek powder 3 or 4 pieces tamarind (kudampuly) soaked in water , 1 cup water , 1/2 tsp coconut oil , Salt.

Shevand Moilee – Kerala : Coconut Lobster Curry
Method : Heat coconut oil in a wide pan, then sauté the onion, chiles and garlic. Add 20 of the curry leaves, and keep cooking until onion is translucent. Add turmeric and salt, then coconut milk. Heat through, then add lobsters and simmer gently. Fry remaining 10 curry leaves in separate .Lobsters should be cooked in 7-9 minutes, depending on size.

Erisseri (Yellow Split Peas / Veg) : Kerala
